This model is the Vanguards VA46000 Ford Zephyr Six Mk III in the black and white livery of the West Riding Constabulary.
This model has limited detailing and no opening parts. At the front there is a chromed grill and bumper that incorporates the siren and bell and a jeweled "spotlight". Below this is the number plate [BWW 698B]. The front lights are represented by clear jeweled lenses. Two chromed side mirrors are supplied for mounting on the front wings which are painted black and two tiny photo-etched wipers grace the front windscreen. The white front and rear doors carry the word "Police" in black lettering. Photo-etched door handles are applied to all four doors. At the rear the Zephyr 6 badge is tampo printed on the white boot lid and the rear lights are represented by red and orange sections within a chromed surround.
The interior is red plastic with a right hand drive, black plastic steering wheel and "column change" gear stick and chrome interior rear view mirror. The glazing is clear all round.
All wheels have solid, one piece grey hubs with separate chrome "hub caps" and black "rubber" tyres.
The base plate is black painted metal and is marked with "Vanguards" in the centre top and "Zephyr 4/Zephyr 6" and "LLEDO" on two lines at the centre bottom. The base plate casting also has minimalist front and rear suspension system, drive shaft and differential and exhaust system. It is held in place with two hidden self tapping screws.
