This model is the Tomte Laerdal #14 Chevrolet El Camino in red.
Tomte Laerdal vehicles are made from a soft plastic and often appear to be copies of vehicles manufactured by Corgi, Solido and Dinky. They nearly always have at least the addition of a driver and sometimes passengers to the casting. They have no opening parts and almost all cabriolets have a soft, clear plastic windscreen.
All wheels are of a soft rubber or plastic compound in one piece shaped to represent a hub and tyre and fitted to dome head metal axles.
This model appears to be a copy of the Dinky El Camino pickup. There is no glazing or interior on this model.
There is no base plate but the interior underside of the vehicle is imprinted with "14" below what would be the underside of the pickup bed (near the tailgate). It also carries the words "Tomte Laerdal" and "Stavanger Norway" on two casting strengthening bars and the casting is also imprinted with numbers that indicate it was produced from casting mold 2 in a set.
This model was produced in the 1960s.
