This model is the BMW Promotional issue of a BMW 507 in white. This model was released in a special promotional issue card board box, with the model being wrapped in a soft, "Mobile BMW Tradition" cleaning cloth. It was specially produced for issue at the Techno Classica (Essen, Germany) in 1993. Techno Classica Essen is one of the largest classic automotive shows in the world for vintage, veteran and classic cars from different auto manufacturers.

The model has no opening parts. It has chromed front and rear bumpers and grill.

The interior appears to be a red painted metal insert with a left hand drive black plastic steering wheel and dashboard. The front glazing is clear with a silver trim. The headlights are represented by clear plastic lenses and the rear lights by painted dots. The body has a single chrome plastic side mirror.

All wheels have simulated chrome hubs - solid, one piece plastic with separate black "rubber" tyres.

The base plate is black painted metal and is marked with "BMW 507 Scale 1:43" at the centre bottom. No manufacturer's marks are evident on the model. The base plate casting also has cast drive shaft, transmission and exhaust systems. It is held in place with two tiny self tapping screws.

This model was issued around 1993.
