Matchbox Gift Set - Ltd Edition (Item01229)

Over the years I have come across a number of different Limited Edition Gift Sets. These do not appear to have been recorded in any reference covering Matchbox Yesteryear models. I strongly suspect that most were put together using whatever was currently being manufactured on the assembly line in order to meet the requests of the USA arm of the business. To make it easier to list them on this web site, I have simply used a generic term "Gift Set - Limited Edition" and added my own personal database reference number, e.g. Item01046, Item01047, etc., as none of the items carries an individual stock item number. They all appear to carry the same packaging number (030653) and bar code (35995 03653).

This set of three models contains a Y26-1-A-6 1918 Crossley Beer Truck in Powder Blue and Lowenbau livery, a Y22-1-C-1 1930 Ford Model A van in Beige and Toblerone livery, and a Y4-4-A-21 1930 Duesenberg Model J Town Car in Dark Brown and Cream.

The models have no opening parts or glazing, unless otherwise specified below.
