This model is the Matchbox Yesteryear Duesenberg Model J Town Car (1930) in Light Green with Lime Green side and rear body panels. It was packed originally in the straw coloured, type I style box.

The model has a Light Green body and chassis, running boards and wheel arches. The body side panels are Lime as is the rear body panel. This is NOT an overspray version but is the model described in the Yesteryear Book 2002 as issue 11. Some early models were oversprayed in the factory in the new colour scheme using parts already sprayed in the earlier metallic red. These overspray versions can be found as A: base only oversprayed, B: body only oversprayed, and C: both body and base are oversprayed. It is not known if there was any particular sequence to the production of these issues and the A,B,C coding has been arbitrarily applied as this is the order in which these variations were found. It is most likely they were actually issued in the order of 11C, 11B and 11A, then 11 as listed in the book as new components were cast and came into the production line for spraying in the new colour scheme of Light Green and Lime.

The roof is green plastic with 8mm rear window and is held in place by a type B, rectangular ceiling. The interior is green plastic with a black steering wheel.
