This model is the Matchbox Yesteryear Y22-1-B-2 Ford Model A Van (1930) in Maggi livery. When produced, the Maggis Company took 14,000 models for their own promotional purposes. Unbeknown to Lesney, the Maggis Company had 6000 models altered by adding a Maggis logo to the rear doors. These were packed into non-Lesney packaging, a special presentation style box. This model comes packed in its original straw coloured presentation box with German text (possibly the non-Lesney box).
The model has no opening parts. The vehicle roof is red, the seats are fawn plastic, the cab roof type is raised panel Type "2", the rear van roof is type "A", and the decal is a type "1" decal. The glazing is clear.
