Matchbox Yesteryear: Y13-3-C-4 Crossley (1918) - Carlsberg

This model is the Matchbox Yesteryear Crossley (1918) in cream with gloss black chassis and light green front and rear canopies with white "Carlsberg" on a dark green background on the rear canopy sides. It originally came packed in the straw coloured box.

The model has no opening parts. The cab tilt, rear canopy and radiator grille are all light green. The seats are dark red. There is no glazing.

Other Comments/Identifying Features: The model has the "C" type body with no cleats or raised edges to the rear body tray, type "B" front springs (additional strengthening web has been added), and the type "D" baseplate with the inscription rearranged, the drive shaft incomplete and a 3mm diameter hole in the centre, held in place with two rivets.


Issued between 1983 and 1984 with a stated scale of 1:47.
