This model is the Matchbox Yesteryear Y-13-3-B-9 Crossley (1918) in dark red and yellow "UK Matchbox" livery. It is packed in an original type I straw coloured box. This is an official Code 2 model based on the Y13-3-B model (type C chassis) and was issued to commemorate the achievement of 800 members. In all it is thought 930 models were produced and sold to Club members. The logo on the rear canopy reads "800 MEMBERS" and "XMAS 1979", below which is "U.K. MATCHBOX" in red on a yellow background, on the vehicle side panels.
The model has no opening parts. The cab tilt and rear canopy are bright yellow. The seats are black, as is the grille. There is no glazing.

Other Comments/Identifying Features: The model has the "C" type body with no cleats and raised edges to the top and two sides of the rear body tray, type "B" front springs (additional strengthening web has been added), and the type "C" base plate with the "Ltd" deleted from "Lesney Products & Co. Ltd" and the "RAF Tender" deleted from "1918 Crossley RAF Tender". It is held in place with two machined rivets.
Issued 1979 to 1983 approximately, with a stated scale of 1:47.
