This model is the Matchbox Yesteryear Ford Model T Van (1912) in Deans livery. It comes packed in the original straw coloured box with correct yellow label on the face side stating "A Memento of Deans of Leeds, 75th Anniversary" on two lines in black lettering. This is an Official Code 2 model and only 1000 were produced in 1982. They were given to customers of Deans. Fakes are known to exist, thought to have originated in the Leeds area around 1982/83.
The model has no opening parts. The vehicle roof is black, the seats are black plastic, the rear door type is a black Type "1". There is no glazing.

Other Comments/Identifying Features: The model has black Type 1 rear doors (single line tampo) with red "Tel. 452966" decal placed over the door tampo, black rear lights and "Y12" on the base plate. The base plate is held in place by three machined rivets.
Issued in 1982, with a stated scale of 1:35, to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the store and the, coincidental, 75th birthday of the company's Managing Director.
