This model is the Husky 26-a-1 Sunbeam Alpine in metallic copper.
This model has no opening parts. The front grille, number plate and bumper are all part of the base as is the rear bumper and number plate. All other detail including the front and rear lights are cast as part of the body. The model is missing its glazing and top.
The entire interior is yellow plastic and has a right hand drive yellow plastic steering wheel. The glazing is missing but should be clear.
All wheels are of the solid hub and tyre type - solid one piece grey plastic on steel domed axles.
The base plate is chromed plastic and is marked with "Husky" at the centre top, "Pat. Pending" in the centre middle and "Sunbeam, Alpine" on two lines at the centre bottom. The country of origin details appear behind the rear axle and read "Made in GT Britain". It is held in place with four machined rivets, one at the front, two behind the front wheels and one at the rear.
This model was issued between 1966 and 1969.
