This is the Hubley #432 MGTD Sports Car issued circa 1950s in red. It is 148mm long, 50mm wide and 50mm high to the top of the windscreen.
It is a two piece casting with most detail such as bumpers (silver), side lights, body lines and trim, etc. cast into the body metal. The radiator grille and head lights are a separate chromed casting, fitted to the main body via a pin on the underside of each head light. The windscreen frame is a separate pressed metal component, also chromed. There is no glazing. To the rear is spare wheel attached by a self tapping screw.
There is no interior as the seats, dash, and steering wheel are all cast into the main body casting, and painted in the main body colour (red).
There is no base to the model. On the under-side of the body casting the model carries the legend "HUBLEY KIDDIE, Lancaster.PA. Made in U.S.A." cast on three lines under the bonnet, and the mold number "1" under the rear tonneau.
All wheels are of a solid black rubber "hub and tyre" type. The conical domed head axles pass through the wheels and are pinch-clamped to the rounded columns that protrude from the underside of the body of the model.
I don't not know when this model was issued, but believe it to have been in the 1950s.
