This model is the Hachette Cisitalia 202 (1950) in silver with racing number 437. The casting is an Starline (Germany/China) casting. It originally came with a booklet about the Cisitalia and the legendary Mille Maglia of Italy and the cars that took part in it and was issued in a clear plastic display package, mounted on a black plastic display base and shrink wrapped with the booklet.

There are no opening parts on this model. All features are either cast into the metal or comprise photo-etched parts which are attached during the finishing of the model. The model has separate windscreen wipers, grill and trim, door handles, number-plates and bumpers. The front lights are clear lenses inset in to chromed plastic surrounds. The rear lights are red lenses fitted to the rear wheel arches.

The interior is tan plastic and it has a brown and black plastic, right hand drive steering wheel and tan gearstick. The steering wheel is mounted in a detailed dashboard (instrument panel). The glazing is clear plastic.

All wheels appear to be one piece, plastic hubs in the fashion of the spoked wheel of the era with separate black "rubber" tyres.

The base plate is black plastic with "Cisitalia 202 - 1950" at the top centre, Starline Models in the centre above the simulated drive shaft, "1/43" in the centre below the driveshaft and "Made in China" at the centre bottom. It also carries a rudimentary representation of the suspension and a separate silver exhaust system. It is held in place by 2 small self-tapping screws.

Issue date is circa 2008 and the scale is said to be 1/43.
