This is the DINKY 704-G-1 Avro York in Silver with cast windows and wing markings "G-A GJC".
There are basically five parts to the item, the body casting, the wing casting, the base, the wheels, and the propellers. The body castings are painted silver and carry, on each side, cast windows, "G-A" on the left wing and "GJC" on the right wing. The cockpit windows are painted in the body colour silver, the propellers are painted red metal (tin). On the underside of the wings is cast "DINKY TOYS, York, 704" on the left wing and "Made in England by, Meccano Ltd." on the right wing.
This model has no working parts other than the propellers, which can spin on their pin, and the wheels.
This model was issued as 704 between 1954 and 1960.
