This model is the Dinky 157-G-1 Jaguar XK120 Coupe in red with red hubs.

This model features a single piece cast body with all detail cast in. The entire body is painted red with the front bumper, grille, and headlight lenses picked out in silver. The rear tail lights are picked out in orange. There is no interior or glazing.

All wheels are of the shaped cast metal type - solid one piece cast metal hubs, painted red, with a separate black "rubber" tyre, fitted to steel domed axles.

The base plate is lacquered tinplate metal with a blackish tinge. It is marked with "Dinky Toys" at the top centre, "Jaguar" in the middle centre, "Made in England   Meccano Ltd" at the bottom centre, and "167" to the rear, just behind the rear axle.

This model was issued between 1954 and 1962.

This model is the Dinky 157-G-4 Jaguar XK120 Coupe in green with tan hubs. This is a RESTORED item with some minor embellishments (door handles), an incorrect shade of green, but with original untouched base and hubs. It comes with a home-made reproduction box showing a green Jaguar XK120 with tan hubs on one face, a red Jaguar XK120 with red hubs on the other face, and with red coloured dots on the end flaps.

This model features a single piece cast body with all detail cast in. The entire body is painted green with the front bumper, grille, headlight lenses, front side light lenses, and door handles picked out in silver. The rear tail lights are picked out in red and the rear over-riders are silver. The wheel hubs are of the cast ridged variety and have been left untouched in the original tan. There is no interior or glazing.

The base plate is lacquered tinplate metal with a blackish tinge and is also untouched (original). It is marked with "Dinky Toys" at the top centre, "Jaguar" in the middle centre, "Made in England Meccano Ltd" at the bottom centre, and "167" to the rear, just behind the rear axle.

All wheels consist of tan cast hubs with black rubber tyres on steel axles. These have not been tampered with during the restoration process.

The original model was issued between 1954 and 1962. I do not know when this restoration was done.
