This model is the Dinky 141-G-1 Vauxhall Victor Estate in yellow with spun hubs. Issue G-2 is in Pinkish-Orange and was released only in South Africa.
This model features a two piece cast body with all detail cast in and incorporating an opening rear hatch. The entire body is painted yellow with the front grille, bumper, and headlight lenses picked out in silver. The bonnet shape is cast, as are the side badges, side doors and door handles, the rear left petrol cap, and the rear lights and bumper (silver). The rear hatch is a separate casting with number plate and door handle.
The interior is blue plastic with a white plastic steering wheel on the right. The glazing is clear all round including the rear hatch which has separate glazing unit..
All wheels are of the spun metal type - solid, one piece, spun metal hubs, each with a separate black rubber tyre, fitted to steel domed axles.
The base plate appears to be black painted tinplate metal. It is marked with "Prov. Patent Nos., 1026/59 12500/60" on two lines under the left door sills, "Victor Estate" at the top centre, "Dinky Toys 141" to the middle centre, and "Meccano Ltd England" at the bottom centre. There is a hole between the word "Dinky" and "Toys" along the centre line. The base is held by two machined rivets.
This model was issued between 1963 and 1967.
