This is the Dimestore Dreams 20200 Convertible with Speedboat and Trailer issued in the early 2000s in Blue and Yellow.
This model is a multi-piece casting with simplistic detail such as bumpers, lights, body lines and trim etc. cast into the plastic. There is no glazing or base to the model. The convertible body is cast with a blue plastic half body (bonnet, front and rear wings, windscreen, dash and steering wheel) with the front and rear bumpers, grille, headlights, and steering wheel spokes picked out in silver. The remaining body (doors, sides, boot, and seats) is cast in yellow plastic with the door handles, boot handle and badge picked out in silver and the rear lights picked out in red. On the under-side of the convertible is cast "Dimestore Dreams ™, © 2000 Binary Arts Corp., Alexandria VA, Made in China" on four lines under the bonnet. The mold number "4" appears on the blue casting behind the grille and under the boot area of the yellow body casting (again a "4").
The speedboat casting is also cast in two colours - the hull and wind shield, dash and steering wheel are blue plastic with the steering wheel spokes again picked out in silver. The upper body (deck, seats, and engine cover) are cast in yellow plastic with the rope cleats picked out in silver and the running lights picked out in red. The blue hull is marked "Dimestore Dreams ™, © 2000 Binary Arts Corp., Alexandria VA, Made in China" on four lines on the bottom at the stern.
The trailer is cast solely in blue plastic. It carries no manufacturer's marks or country of origin details.
The original axles are steel and carry solid white plastic wheels (with knobbly tread and silver "hub caps") that have been pressure fitted to the axles, and are pressure fitted to pillar mounts on the body casting, two narrow pillars under the cab engine and two under the rear wings. The trailer wheels are fitted in a similar manner.
This model was originally issued between 2000 and 2003.
