This model is the Corgi Classics Series 96685 1959 Jaguar Mk II in white in the livery of the Staffordshire Police. This model was produced as a general release world-wide.
This model represents the Staffordshire Police version of the Jaguar in white with red bonnet and boot and as such is adorned with Police logos in black on the side doors and in white on the red boot lid. There are no opening parts on this model but it does have a number of chromed enhancements, such as Jaguar emblem, light surrounds, front and rear number plates and front and rear bumpers.
It has a fixed bonnet, boot, and doors. The bonnet is adorned with the chrome Jaguar hood ornament.
The interior is red plastic with a right hand drive red plastic steering wheel and simulated wood grain dashboard complete with dials, etc. The glazing is clear with molded wipers and interior rear-vision mirror.
All wheels have simulated cream hubs - solid, one piece cream plastic with a "chromed" hub cap center and with separate black "rubber" tyres.
The base plate is black painted metal and is marked with "Made in CHINA" behind the front bumper and "CORGI" in the centre top and "Jaguar MK II" at the centre bottom. The baseplate casting also has cast drive shaft and exhaust system. It is held in place with three rivets.
This model was issued around 1994.
