Corgi 482-B-1 Range Rover "Vigilant" Ambulance

This model is the Corgi 482-B-1 Range Rover "Vigilant" Ambulance in White.

It has opening upper and lower rear hatch only. The grill is black plastic with twin silver painted metal headlights and bumpers. On the raised roof are two blue dome lights. This model is missing the dark blue stripes, Ambulance lettering and small red cross label.

The interior is red plastic with a right hand drive, red plastic steering wheel. The glazing is clear all round.

All wheels are of the "speed wheel" type - hollow one piece plastic with a "chromed" patterned "hub"in the center.

The base plate is grey painted metal and is marked with "Made in GT Britain" at the top centre, Corgi Toys on the second line, "WHIZZWHEELS" on the third line, "Vigilant" on the fourth line, "Range Rover" on the fifth line and "PAT APP No. 3396/69" at the bottom centre.

This model was issued in May 1975 and withdrawn in 1977.
