This model is the Corgi 479-A-1 Commer Mobile Camera Van in Metallic Blue and White. This version comes complete with cameraman and camera.
The only opening parts are the rear doors. The camera, stand, platform, and cameraman can be removed from the roof. The exterior is painted metallic blue on the lower body and white on the upper body. The headlights, grille, air vent, and bumpers are picked out in silver. The rear lights are picked out in red. The bumpers and all other features are cast into the body, including the Commer emblem/name badge above the top of the radiator grille. It also carries a white on black label on the side doors that reads ">>>>>>>>, Samuelson, Film Service, Limited" on four lines. The roof rack is also metallic blue and carries a grey metal platform on which the grey metal camera stand holds the black camera. Behind this is the cameraman dress in green jacket and brown trousers.
The interior is blue plastic with a grey plastic steering wheel. Both front and rear seats are blue. The glazing is clear plastic all round, except for the rear doors which are unglazed.
All wheels are of the "shaped" type - spun, polished wheel hubs with separate "rubber" tyres on steel axles.
