This model was issued with an accompanying certificate, outlining the origin of the Routemaster RM3 - SLT 58, numbered "286" which is based at the Cobham Bus Museum in Surrey, England.

The model was released with "Cobham Bus Museum" in black lettering, "Open Day, Sunday April 14 1985" in red lettering on a white label on both upper sides. The upper front and rear route boards are paper labels with white lettering on a black background showing the route destination as "1, SPECIAL SERVICE" on the first row and "Cobham Bus Museum" on the second, flanked by white with green lettering "Model Road & Rail" advertising. The side rear route board is a small paper label in black with white lettering reading "Cobham Bus Museum".

This model has no opening parts. The front headlights and grille are represented by cast impressions, the lights have been painted silver but the grille is painted in the body colour and below this is a white on black number plate reading "SLT 58". The rear also has cast impressions to represent the rear lights and a number plate in black with white lettering [SLT 58].

The entire interior is white plastic with the upper interior showing around the middle of the bus as a white stripe. The glazing is clear with molded lines on some areas to represent the small opening slide windows present on the real bus. The stairs to the upper level have been cast into the lower body casting but there is no corresponding opening cast into the upper interior!

All wheels are of the "speed wheel" type - hollow one piece plastic with a red center, 6 spoke "hub".

The base plate is black plastic and is marked with "corgi" in the centre top and "Made in GT Britain" at the centre bottom. It is held in place with three rivets.
