This model is the Corgi 319-B-1 Lamborghini Miura P400 GT in silver with purple and yellow racing stripes running over the left hand, driver's side roof and bonnet and down both doors. It has the racing number 7 on the bonnet and both doors.
It has an opening bonnet to expose the luggage compartment with fake spare wheel and the rear opens, just behind the doors, to expose the gold and silver plated engine. Also embedded in the opening rear engine cover is another rear luggage compartment that also has an opening lid. The bonnet has jewel lenses inset to represent the headlights and the rear cover has black plastic "louvres" where the rear window would be.
The interior is black plastic with a left hand drive "chromed" plastic steering wheel. The glazing is clear.
All wheels are of the "speed wheel" type - hollow one piece plastic with a "chromed" center.
The base plate is black plastic and is marked with "Made in GT Britain" over the front axle area, Patent Number over rear axle and Corgi Toys plus the Lamborghini emblem in the center. It is held in place with four rivets!
This model was issued between February 1973 and the end of 1974.
