This model is the Corgi 268-A-1 Green Hornet's Black Beauty in black.
The chrome front grille and bumper open when a lever underneath the driver's door is pulled revealing space for a large missile. The trunk also opens when a lever underneath the trunk is pulled releasing an orange gyroscope that spins up and away from the car. The front lights are represented by green tinted lenses inset into the body with a red surround. The rear lights are represented by red painted panels on the lid of the trunk and two on the rear bumper. On the roof is the Green Hornet symbol.
The interior is green plastic with a left hand drive, grey plastic steering wheel cast into the interior casting. Behind the wheel is a figure of Kato and in the rear right hand seat is the Green Hornet with his right arm out the window wielding a gun. All windows have green glazing except the rear right hand window which has none.
All wheels have one piece spun hubs with a black "rubber" tyre.
The base plate is black painted metal and is marked with "CORGI TOYS" at the centre top, "THE GREEN HORNET'S" in the centre middle and "BLACK BEAUTY" at the centre bottom. Underneath the trunk is a molded Green Hornet symbol. At the very bottom centre is the legend "Made in GT. BRITAIN". The base plate is held in place with four machined rivets, three in the front and one in the rear.
