This model is the Benbros Mighty Midgets 03-2 AA Patrol Motorcycle and Sidecar in dark yellow and black. I believe this more readily conforms to the type 2 casting of that model as it has no "AA" on the wind shield and has nail head axles.
The model is a multiple piece metal casting with the motorcycle body molded with representations of the engine, handlebars, headlight, front and rear mudguards, and frame in black. The headlight lens, rear number plate, and petrol tank are also in black but the wind shield is dark yellow. The model is missing its rider who should be in olive green, without black boots. The sidecar casting is molded with the service box (complete with cast, dark yellow, AA logo) in dark yellow, and mudguard in dark yellow. The side car has a very angular shape and is pinned to the motorcycle at the front and via the rear axle. The base of the sidecar is marked "Made In England". This model has no highlighting on the sidecar rack, which is cast as part of the sidecar and not separately as on issue 1.
There is no base plate as such and the underside of the motorcycle and sidecar carry no manufacturer's marks but the sidecar has country of origin details as outlined above.
The three wheels are all bare metal "hub and tyre" style items, mounted on steel, "nail head", axle pins that are crimped on one side.
This item was issued in the 1950s.
